Lion Air Crash in Bali, Indonesia

Boeing 737-800 NG of Lion Air on Saturday, April 13, 2013  at 15.10 pm local time failed to land at Ngurah Rai airport, Bali and crashed in Bali waters only a few hundred meters from the runway. The plane took off from the airport Hussein Sastranegara, Bandung at 12:48 pm local time and was supposed to land in Bali at 15:40 pm. The aircraft was produced in 2012 and only 2 months of operation is broken on the back.

Passengers numbering 108 people consisted of 95 adults, 5 children, 1 toddler and 7 crew all survived. Evacuation process aided by local fishermen and 50 lightly injured passengers have been taken to a nearby hospital. One of the passengers who witnessed the stewardess had overheard the following "if it is imposed, the engine had been damaged". Angkasa Pura I as the management of Ngurah Rai airport stated that the aircraft could not reach the runway. Cause of crash still be waiting for the investigation.
